I was just browsing through the Twoplustwo forum and I learned of a new twist in the Lock Poker payout scandal. As you may know players at Lock Poker have been waiting 6+ months for cashouts. Apparently not all players have to wait half a year or longer. There have been reports that members of the Cardschat poker forum are getting their withdrawals processed much quicker. Cardschat has continued to list Lock Poker as one of the top US poker sites in 2024, despite the various scandals and 6+ month payouts. There is a person at Cardschat who can have your Lock Poker withdrawal pushed through in a couple of days, see more below.
Why would Lock Poker show preferential treatment towards certain affiliated players? A poker room in Lock Poker’s position desperately needs new revenue. I reported recently on why you should avoid Lock Poker and about how the Revolution Network is failing to pay some of their skins.
Lock Poker’s traffic has been cut in half in 2024 and players continue to leave the troubled room. Affiliates have also left Lock Poker, mostly. Cardschat is a pretty big affiliate – excellent SEO skills btw, me = insanely jealous – so they represent a lifeline in a way.
Need Your Money Quick? Talk To Dakota-xx At Cardschat
There is a woman at Cardschat who has been able to get Lock Poker to send the money within 7 days! Dakota-xx is a longtime member at Cardschat, with 38,800 posts. She apparently has the ability to send Lock Poker a weekly batch of screen names and they will process the payouts within a day or two. Amazing. Here are some screenshot quotes from Dakota-xx (Debi?):
Now, I commend Dakota-xx. ANYTHING that gets players paid faster is good in my book. Even Cardschat cannot be faulted to using their pull to help their forum members. My issue with this is that it is basically a huge penis-slap to the face for non-Cardschat members who have been waiting for a payout since December of 2012.
Why should a small group of players get preferential treatment over others? Lock Poker should pay from oldest to newest, without deviation. Why do they take special requests? To keep the money rolling in. I guarantee that if Cardschat dropped Lock Poker Dakota-xx would be waiting 6+ months for her own cashouts at Lock Poker.
Lock Poker has shown that they will do ANYTHING to keep new deposits rolling in. I’m sure they cringe every time they send someone money but doing so continues their Ponzi scheme and generates new revenue from unsuspecting players.

Before I end this I want to share an image I created. I pulled the original from the LockPoker.eu homepage. I’m sure that I’ll have to take it down .
Hehe, pretty funny. Feel free to share.

I’ve read that Lock hasn’t paid anyone since the 17th, US or not. I wonder if CC members have gotten paid since then. I wouldn’t put it past Lock to stop paying non-CC affiliated players. I’m sure CC is enjoying the membership boost but it has to hurt their image to promote Lock. Then again, if their players get paid in a matter of days instead of months they really are not hurting anyone by listing them. What a mess.
Get real, the owners of CC don’t care about their image – they are laughing all the way to the bank on this one, they own pokersites.com and look at who they plug there, whoever pays the most, period!
The industry should dispose of lock once and for all.
I don’t see what the industry can do. The bulk of affiliates have already stopped working with them. If the remaining affiliates dropped them it would speed up their demise but that is about it.
